Our Neighborhood

Established in the 1980s, Caloosa Country Club Estates is a quiet circle of 120 homes framed by water, fairways, and mature trees. It offers the ease of Sun City Center with the feeling of a tucked-away neighborhood.

Many homes overlook Lake Caloosa. Others look out across the greens and fairways of the Caloosa Golf & Country Club.  While our neighborhood enjoys a close connection to the course, club membership is separate from homeownership and arranged directly with the club, with its own dues and policies.

Caloosa Country Club Estates is known for calm streets, cohesive architecture, and wide-open views. The neighborhood feels cared for without feeling fussy. Lawns, palms, and lakeside backyards create a sense of space and quiet. The view is more sky and water than traffic and noise.

Mornings often begin with coffee on the lanai, watching the light move across the lake. By afternoon, golf carts roll out toward the course and neighbors wave as they walk their dogs. Evenings settle in with long shadows, sprinklers, and a sunset over the water. Homeowners share pride of ownership and a consistent standard of exterior care.

Annual Costs

Caloosa Country Club Estates keeps annual costs intentionally modest. Annual dues are currently $125 per home. Since the Association does not maintain clubhouses or large recreational facilities, funds are focused on what matters most: entrance landscaping, required insurance coverage, and the quiet administration that helps preserve Caloosa’s standards.

Close to Everything, Still Quiet

Caloosa Country Club Estates is part of the Sun City Center Community Association, home to more than 11,000 residents and an extensive network of clubs, pools, fitness centers, and year-round activities. As a homeowner here, you are a voting member of the Community Association and enjoy access to its amenities.

From our neighborhood, I-75 is just minutes away, with Tampa about 30 miles to the north and Sarasota roughly 40 miles to the south. Orlando’s major theme parks are approximately an hour and a half away. Day trips are easy, and coming home still feels calm and unhurried.
